Some studies show that Mast Cell Degranulating Peptide (MCDP) augments the release of excitatory and inhibitory transmitter by an action, which is independent of calcium influx, through voltage-dependent channels. Mast Cell Degranulating Peptide (MCDP) inhibited non-competitively the binding of both radiolabelled dendrotoxin and beta-bungarotoxin but with relatively low potency. |
